Sound Has a way of reaching where words cannot…

Gently unraveling tension, grief, and trauma stored in the body and reminding us of the beauty of simply being.

You know music affects your mood

But did you know that the vibrations of sound affect us neurologically, physiologically and even biochemically?

Sound Healing uses sacred instruments like gongs, singing bowls, and tuning forks to create harmonious vibrations that resonate with your body and biofield. It carries ancient wisdom that has been used therapeutically for thousands of years.

Modern science confirms that listening to the certain sound frequencies:

  • induces relaxation
  • activates the parasympathetic nervous system
  • slows down your heart rate and blood pressure
  • eases muscle tension

But We believe sound healing transcends relaxation.

With the proper guidance, it can enable you to explore the depths of your being, reclaim your power and step into your truth.

We have been repeatedly told over the last 14 years that our sound healing sessions take people to deep places that other sound healing sessions couldn’t.

That’s because we have our own unique body of work called Sound of Being™, a transformative modality that intertwines sound therapy, breathwork, energy medicine, and meditation, rooted in Vedic and shamanic teachings.

Meet our founders

Husband & wife duo Seriya Cutbush and Matty Rainbow, based in beautiful Byron Bay.

Not only are we backed by extensive qualifications, but we believe just as importantly, our lived experience of embodying this work guide us. Keep reading to hear our stories.

Seriya Cutbush

I was raised between the Byron Shire in Australia and the ashrams of India, where mantra, meditation, sacred music, and energy work formed the foundation of my childhood. Spirituality wasn’t something I learned later in life – it was the rhythm of my upbringing, woven into every breath and step.

From a young age, my mother’s connection to healing, sound, and the unseen shaped my world, and I carry that golden thread of devotion through everything I offer today.
My father, too, was deeply attuned to the natural world. I have vivid memories of him chanting us to sleep and channeling natural sounds on bush walks; his voice merging with the living world like a prayer.

Over the years, my journey has carried me across continents; living in remote Indigenous communities, and studying yoga, meditation, sound healing, energy work, and shamanic practices across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

But my greatest teachers have been life itself. Through grief, loss, near-death experiences, major surgeries, anxiety, and burnout, I was initiated again and again into deeper listening, deeper surrender, and deeper truth. These experiences taught me that true healing isn’t about “fixing” ourselves. It’s about remembering the wholeness that has always lived inside us.

Motherhood continues to bring me to my knees and expand my heart beyond what I ever thought possible. Relationships, too, have been profound mirrors, inviting deeper self-awareness, compassion, and presence.

My work today is grounded in both lineage and lived experience. I blend various modalities to create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and deeply held. Spaces where the masks fall away, and we can meet ourselves in our rawness, our beauty, and our brilliance.

At my core, I am here to guide others back to their own power, their own clarity, and their own innate wisdom.

Through everything I offer, whether it’s a Sacred Recalibration: Intuitive Healing Massage, Bodywork, Vedic Meditation Practices, Intuitive Practices, Energy Medicine, Sound Healing, or Ceremony; the invitation is the same: Come home to yourself.

Five Fun Facts You Might Not Know About Me

My Approach

I see healing as a process of coming home to yourself.

It’s about remembering. Listening. Reconnecting.

It’s about weaving yourself back together—not to become something new, but to reclaim the vastness and beauty that have always been within you.

If you’re ready to rediscover who you truly are, to move through life’s thresholds with grace, and to realign with the power of your own essence— I’m here to walk with you as you unfold your own path.

Matty Rainbow

It wasn’t purely through curiosity that I was led to this work, but more so out of necessity. Chronic back pain, emotional disconnection, and a silence around inner life shaped much of my youth. Raised in a working-class Australian family, I learned to push through pain, not explore it. Vulnerability wasn’t spoken about, and I didn’t have the tools, or the safety to feel deeply.

Sport, adventure, and eventually alcohol became my escape. I took on the ‘party boy’ persona, chasing intensity and freedom while burying unspoken grief and pain. On the surface, I was fun and easygoing. But beneath it, I was spiralling; emotionally fractured and searching for something I couldn’t name.

A chance encounter changed everything. At 18, I walked into a Kinesiology School open day. A practitioner invited me onstage and, without knowing anything about me, traced my back pain to long-suppressed emotions. He cleared it within minutes simply by drawing my attention to it. That moment cracked my world open and I enrolled on the spot.

At 22, I began practising as a Kinesiologist. I could support others into healing, but I hadn’t yet fully walked that path myself. The pain returned, reminding me that healing is more than understanding, it’s embodiment.

Sound became the bridge back to myself. In one life-changing session with crystal singing bowls, I accessed a state of peace I had only ever glimpsed through substances—but this time, it was clean, safe, and deeply expansive. That experience revealed something profound: a tool that could unlock therapeutic healing and altered states of awareness, no matter one’s background or prior experience. It cracked open a deeper layer of truth.

For the first time, I saw the parts of myself I had spent years trying to numb—old wounds, forgotten emotions, and the unconscious denial of my own wholeness. I began to recognise the impact of ancestral conditioning, and the fractured sense of masculinity I had inherited.

Men’s work became a vital part of this next chapter. In spaces of brotherhood, vulnerability, and honest reflection, I began to rewrite the narrative of what it means to be a man; grounded, emotionally attuned, and present. Not perfect, but real.

Now, as a father, that journey continues. My children constantly invite me to show up more fully. In offering them the safety, love, and connection I once longed for, I am healing generational patterns, giving them a new legacy, and in doing so, rewriting my own.

The work is never finished. It’s alive, humbling, and deeply sacred.

Today, I blend kinesiology, sound healing, meditation, men’s work, and body-based therapies to guide others into deeper connection with themselves. My role is not to fix, but to walk beside you, reminding you of the wholeness that never left.

One breath, one sound, one moment, and one connection at a time.

Five Fun Facts You Might Not Know About Me

My Approach

I believe healing is not about striving or “fixing”; it’s about remembering who you truly are. It’s a process of softening, listening, and coming back into relationship with your body, mind, and spirit.

Through sound therapy, somatic practices, men’s work, intuitive kinesiology, and energy healing, I hold spaces that invite nervous system recalibration, emotional release, and profound reconnection.
Each session is a co-creation – an invitation to move from surviving into thriving, from fragmentation into wholeness.

If you’re ready to meet yourself with compassion, courage, and curiosity, I’m here to walk beside you. Let’s journey together.
